Disaster Action Team
We are looking for members to
join our DAT, that will respond to local
disasters. If you are interested in taking the
DAT training, contact the Chapter Office at 419
562 4357.

Disaster workers provide
emergency assistance to families, that have
disaster related loss, due to a house fire,
flooding, wind damages.

Currently 6 local DAT
members from the chapter are in Disaster Training
Classes, we have room for more volunteers,
According to the instructor, Bob Cunningham,
Director of Disaster Services from Morrow County
Chapter, disaster workers are special people, they
are willing to get up at 3 AM, to respond to any
disaster event. He said, The current block of
classes, are the basic classes for DAT members.
The classes give the Disaster Action Team member
the knowledge to offer the right Red Cross
services, at the right time, in the right manner.

the DAT.

Annual Volunteer
Dinner held on 10/19/09
Francis, Richard, Catharine, Sandy, Chris Marcie
The awards were the Executive Director Awards:
given to Vess and Francis; and the Chairman of the
Board Award given to Marcie. Sandy received
the Volunteer of the Year Award aka the Noblet
Award.
